Villa One Reposado Tequila begins its journey with hand-selected 100% blue Weber agave plants, grown in the sun-drenched fields of Jalisco, Mexico. Each agave is carefully harvested at peak maturity, ensuring optimal sweetness and flavor. The hearts of the agaves are then slow-roasted in traditional stone ovens, allowing their natural sugars to caramelize and develop rich, complex flavors.

Following fermentation, the tequila is distilled to perfection in copper pot stills, capturing the essence of the agave with every drop. It is then aged for a minimum of six months in charred American oak barrels, where it acquires its signature golden hue and smooth, velvety texture.

The tequila is made from the finest sustainably grown 100% blue weber agave matured for 5 to 7 years and sourced from both the Lowlands and Highlands of Jalisco. It is distilled by master distiller Arturo Fuentes, “The Godfather of Tequila,” at the Fabrica de Tequilas Finos.

In 1861, Tequila Herradura (horseshoe) was founded by Feliciano Romo and is present-day a company museum. Herradura was the first to produce reposado tequila and always has only made 100% agave tequila.
Villa One launched in 2019 as their brainchild, along with master distiller Arturo Fuentes, and was brought to life through a partnership with Stoli Group.Light and smooth CaliFino Reposado is made with 100% Blue Weber agave and aged for 12 months in American Oak. It's a light-amber, golden color and smells fresh and oaky from the barrel. Ideal neat, on the rocks, or in cocktails, you'll get notes of vanilla and buttery spice with a creamy honey finish.
Tequila is made from the heart of the agave plant, which is called the piña. The piña is roasted above-ground in an oven and then shredded or grounded into a pulp. Then, the pulp is mixed with water and yeast and fermented in large vats for two to three weeks.Tequila is obtained from the distillation of fermented juice of agave plant, Agave tequilana, to which up to 49% (w/v) of an adjunct sugar, mainly from cane or corn, could be added.
Reposado means “rested” in Spanish, and reposados rest anywhere from two months to a year before they are bottled. Reposados take on the gold hue from the barrels in which they are aged. They are typically aged in oak or white oak barrels, and the type of barrel changes the flavor of each distillery's tequila.
