Highly Sought After
Limited Production
Buffalo Trace Bourbon is known for its limited production, with only a select number of bottles available each year. The distillery carefully crafts each batch, ensuring exceptional quality, which results in a smaller, exclusive release. This limited availability has made Buffalo Trace Bourbon highly sought after by collectors and whiskey enthusiasts alike, often leading to scarcity in the market. Its reputation for excellence and the careful attention to detail in its production process have cemented its place as a coveted, rare treasure for bourbon connoisseurs.

The History
Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor Jr.
Buffalo Trace Distillery was founded by Col. E.H. Taylor Jr., a prominent figure in the bourbon industry during the late 19th century. He played a pivotal role in shaping the modern bourbon industry, particularly through his commitment to improving distillation practices and promoting quality standards. Originally known as the Old Fire Copper Distillery, it was later renamed Buffalo Trace in honor of the buffalo migration paths that once crossed the area. Taylor’s innovations and leadership have left a lasting impact on the distillery and the broader bourbon industry.
