Pinhook 2023 Flagship Bourbon Orange Wax is a distinguished expression of straight bourbon whiskey crafted by Pinhook Whiskey. Produced as part of their annual vintage series, this bourbon embodies the commitment of Pinhook's Co-founder and Master Blender, Sean Josephs, to create the best possible expression each year rather than adhering to a consistent profile. Distilled at Castle & Key Distillery in Frankfurt, Kentucky, and blended by Sean Josephs himself, this bourbon represents the pinnacle of Pinhook's craftsmanship.
This 2023 vintage flagship bourbon features a mash bill comprised of 75% corn, 15% rye, and 10% malted barley, with all grains sourced locally and non-GMO. Distilled in a Vendome copper column still, it is aged for a minimum of three years, allowing it to develop a rich and complex flavor profile. The bourbon is proofed using Kentucky spring water filtered through limestone, ensuring purity and authenticity.
Distilled at Castle & Key Distillery in Frankfort, KY —the original Old Taylor distillery. All non-GMO and locally-sourced grains. Ground-fed, limestone-filtered spring water, straight from the source. Unfiltered and blended for everyday drinking at a proof that stands up to dilution in a cocktail or when poured over ice. Hand-waxed in the signature orange that represents Pinhook’s annual flagship expression of straight bourbon.
