Our Toasted Series is a tribute to the unexpected joys of exploration. As we delved into toasted finishes, we discovered that each barrel brought its own unique character. Embracing this diversity of chars and toasts, we crafted a series where every bottle is truly one-of-a-kind.
After fully maturing our 95% rye and 5% malted barley whiskey in charred new American oak barrels, we finished it in a new, freshly toasted barrel. While the flavor profile of each bottle in our Toasted Series is delightfully unpredictable, the deep vanilla notes from the toasting process enhance our signature flavor. Whether you prefer a Heavy Toast or a Lighter Char, our Toasted Series offers something special for everyone.
Nose: Rich and inviting, with pronounced aromas of vanilla and toasted oak. Subtle hints of caramel, warm spices, and a touch of dark chocolate round out the bouquet. Palate: A smooth and complex flavor profile that begins with deep notes of vanilla, infused by the toasting process. This is complemented by layers of caramelized sugar, toasted almonds, and a hint of smoky char. The rye base adds a pleasant spiciness, balanced by the malted barley’s soft, sweet undertones.
