Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey is a brand of Tennessee whiskey produced by Uncle Nearest, Inc., headquartered in Shelbyville, Tennessee, United States. The whiskey is named after the formerly enslaved man, Nathan "Nearest" Green, who taught a young Jack Daniel the craft of distilling.
With every blend of Uncle Nearest, fifth generation Nearest Green descendant and our master blender, Victoria Eady Butler, selects a barrel she believes to be the most spectacular of the batch and sets it aside. For the first time ever, these select barrels have been blended together to create our most perfect blend.
Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey is distilled and matured at the Jack Daniel Distillery, America's oldest registered distillery, established in 1866. Every bottle of Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey sold around the world is still made at the distillery in Lynchburg, TN.
It opens sweet-and-spicy with caramel, cocoa and pepper. Midpalate, notes of vanilla, almond and toasted oak emerge.
