This brilliant Talisker 11 Year Old was distilled on the Isle of Skye and matured in first and second fill bourbon barrels before bottling for Diageo's Special Releases 2022. It brings a light spicy flavor along with notes of campfire, seaweed, freshly cut grass and building smoke.
The Talisker Distillers Edition is a Talisker 10 year aged a further 12 months in ex-amoroso sherry casks. Amoroso is a blend out of Jerez, Spain where bodega workers would add a touch of Pedro Ximenez sherry to their bottles of Oloroso sherry, to make it more loveable, or “amoroso,” for their wives.Talisker distillery is an island single malt Scotch whisky distillery based in Carbost, Scotland on the Minginish Peninsula on the Isle of Skye.
Aged for ten years, this limited edition single malt scotch whisky was finished in Amoroso sherry casks.

Established in 1830 by brothers Hugh MacAskill of Eigg and Kenneth MacGaskill, Talisker whisky has been made by the sea in the oldest Single Malts Scotch Whisky distillery on the shores of the Isle of Skye, some of the most remote, rugged, yet beautiful landscapes in Scotland.
