Introducing Rittenhouse Rye Whiskey, a classic American spirit renowned for its bold flavor and rich history. Crafted with care and precision in the heart of Kentucky, this exceptional whiskey embodies the essence of tradition and craftsmanship.

Rittenhouse Rye is made from a mash bill of rye, corn, and malted barley, carefully selected to create a distinctive flavor profile. The whiskey is aged in charred oak barrels to perfection, allowing it to develop a complex and robust character over time.

Upon pouring, Rittenhouse Rye captivates with its deep amber color and inviting aroma. Notes of spicy rye, caramel, and vanilla mingle with hints of oak and dried fruits, creating a sensory experience that is both warm and comforting.

On the palate, this whiskey delivers a bold and flavorful taste. Rich and full-bodied, with flavors of cinnamon, nutmeg, and black pepper that dance on the tongue. Subtle hints of dark chocolate and espresso add depth and complexity, while a touch of sweetness balances the spice.

The finish is long and satisfying, with lingering notes of oak, spice, and caramel that leave a lasting impression. Versatile and approachable, Rittenhouse Rye Whiskey is perfect for sipping neat, on the rocks, or as the base for classic cocktails such as the Manhattan or Old Fashioned.

So pour yourself a glass, raise a toast to the timeless tradition of American whiskey, and savor the rich flavors of Rittenhouse Rye. With its bold character and smooth finish, it's the perfect choice for any occasion. Cheers to Rittenhouse.

Distillery Information

In 1999, Heaven Hill Distillery purchased the Rittenhouse Straight Rye Whisky brand, and kept it alive during a time when the popularity of whiskey was in decline. Then came the 2000s.
In the United States, rye whiskey is, by law, made from a mash of at least 51 percent rye. (The other ingredients in the mash are usually corn and malted barley.) It is distilled to no more than 160 U.S. proof (80% abv) and aged in charred, new oak barrels.
Rittenhouse is one of the modern classic rye whiskies, making its reputation as a bartender's favorite for cocktails, with many hailing it as THE Manhattan rye. We tend to agree with that assessment, and love the balance of spice and fruit it brings to the table.
Rittenhouse 100 Proof Bottled in Bond Rye Whiskey distillery: bottled by Continental Distilling Company, but owned by Heaven Hill Distilleries (they also produce Bernheim Wheat Whiskey) origin: Louisville, Kentucky, USA distilled from: at least a 51% rye mash mixture abv: 50% (100 proof) awards: North American Whiskey .
Today Rittenhouse Rye is made in Kentucky with a “barely legal” mashbill of only 51% rye. It's a bottled-in-bond whiskey, making it at least four years old (there is no age statement, but to be BIB it has to be aged at least four years).
