Created with Elder, who has been named master distiller for Proper No. 12, the whiskey is a triple-distilled blend aged in ex-Bourbon casks and bottled at 40% abv.Named after Dublin 12 which is the neighborhood Conor grew up in, Proper Twelve is distilled at the old Bushmills distillery and is matured for three years in American bourbon barrels. In conjunction with master distiller Colum Egan, Conor came up with the perfect blend of grain and malt for his first release.
