Pinnacle is a brand of vodka owned by Beam Suntory It is distilled in France from French wheat then exported to the United States where it is flavored and bottled by Beam. It is currently available in around 30 flavors. The brand was launched by the White Rock Distillery in Lewiston, Maine in 2002.
Producer Description. The crisp, fresh taste of Pinnacle Vodka starts with carefully chosen ingredients - the finest French wheat and pure French spring water. Our whole-grain Winter Wheat comes from Northern France, a region whose rich soil, limestone, and clay create the perfect conditions for harvest.
Pinnacle is made with a traditional and ancestral recipe, but produced with modern equipment in the Distillerie de la Tour. It starts from the finest wheat grain from the Brie region of France crushed up and heated to convert the starches into fermentable sugars. It is then fermented to produce what is known as a wash.
Traditional vodka is made from two raw materials: water and ethanol from the fermentation of cereal grains (like wheat, sorghum, or rye). Many vodka brands use other base ingredients (like potatoes and sugar beets) and additives (like botanicals and spices) to achieve distinctive character in their liquor.
