Distillery Information

Perrier-Jouët ([pɛʁje ʒuɛt]) is a Champagne producer based in the Épernay region of Champagne. The house was founded in 1811 by Pierre-Nicolas Perrier and Rose Adélaide Jouët, and produces both vintage and non-vintage cuvee, approximately 3,000,000 bottles annually, with its prestige label named Belle Epoque.
Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut consists: 20% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir and 40% Pinot Meunier with 12 to 14% being reserve wines. The dosage is typically around 11 grams per litre and Grand Brut benefits from 2 years cellar maturation.
Description. Silvery gold in the glass, Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut is a vibrant, stylish cuvée characterised by delicate floral aromas, rounded out by fresh fruit and hints of buttery brioche and vanilla.
Perrier is known for its carbonation and its distinctive green bottle. Perrier was part of the Perrier Vittel Group SA, which became Nestlé Waters France after the acquisition of the company by Nestlé in 1992. Nestlé Waters France also includes Vittel, S. Pellegrino and Contrex.
Renowned for its elegant floral champagnes produced only in small volumes, Perrier-Jouët has been pursuing its quest for perfection since 1811. The distinctive Art Nouveau bottle reflects the timeless elegance of this refined, prestigious brand, which has been part of the Pernod Ricard group since 2005.
The Maison Perrier-Jouët was born in 1811 from the marriage of Pierre Nicolas Perrier and Rose Adélaïde Jouët, who together combined their passion for art and nature to create a unique vision of champagne.
Maison Perrier-Jouët became renowned for its brut champagnes, which it was able to produce owing to the fact that its high quality grapes required very little added sugar – a philosophy maintained to this day.
It's Just Natural. Under pressure? Perrier's source in Vergèze, France is, but don't worry – it's a good thing. Deep underground the bubbly natural mineral water eagerly fizzes its way to the top where it is then fashioned into its iconic green bottles and cans.
