Penta Anejo Tequila 80 is a testament to the artistry of aging, crafted with precision and expertise. Aged for 14 months in a blend of French, American, and Hungarian Oak barrels, this barrel-aged Anejo is filtered for purity of flavor and subtlety. The result is a deep golden-brown amber tequila, offering a sensory journey of rich aromas and complex flavors. Aromas of vanilla, molasses, roasted brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg intertwine with the underlying essence of agave, creating nuanced layers of depth and character.
Nose: Slow-cooked molasses envelops the senses, leading into a symphony of toasted oak, vanilla, earth, and spice. Palate: Indulge in the flavors of toasted oak, Mexican chocolate, and baking spices, balanced with the essence of cooked agave, vanilla, and deeply toasted oak, accented by notes of cinnamon. Finish: The journey culminates in a rich and slightly dry mouthfeel, leaving a lingering presence of textured agave, dark pecan, and persistent oak on the palate.
