Distillery Information

Old Pulteney is a Highland whisky distillery in Wick, a town in the far northeast of Scotland. Opened in 1826, it is one of the oldest distilleries in the country and is one of only a few that still uses a worm tub.
The 1990s. Through acquisitions and changes in company structures, the distillery ended up with Allied Domecq, who in 1995, sold it to its present owners – Inver House Distillers.

Glenturret was bought by the Lalique group in 2019, and while the previous owners had been putting out interesting special releases, Lalique quickly got to work updating the core range and securing collaborations with other premium brands.
