The Nolet family have been distillers in Schiedam, Netherlands since 1691 and with over 320 years of genever distilling experience they are well qualified to make a gin.
Located in the heart of Schiedam, the Nolet Distillery has been owned by the Nolet family right from its establishment in 1691. The distillery is therefore one of the oldest family businesses in the Netherlands.
In the early 1980s, Nolet's current owner Carel (Carolus) Nolet expanded the family business to create a modern distillery on both sides of the Buitenhaven. He introduced new brands into the range and launched Ketel One Vodka in the United States.
Nolet Spirits U.S.A. was founded by Carolus Nolet Snr in 1991 to handle the marketing and distribution of Ketel One Vodka and later NOLET'S gin in the United States.
Nolet's Silver Gin begins with a mash made from European wheat. While the exact botanical recipe is a company secret, it does contain juniper, peach, turkish rose and raspberry. These botanicals are individually macerated and distilled with the base spirit. The final gin is bottled at 47.6% ABV.
