Milagro Tequila is a Mexican tequila distillery that uses blue agave from the Jalisco Highlands. The distillery was established in 1997 and is owned by William Grant & Sons Distillers Ltd.
Milagro is double distilled, using both pot and column stills. The first distillation is done in a traditional pot still to capture the agave plant's flavors. The piñas are then slow-roasted in brick ovens for 36 hours to extract flavor.
The name "Milagro" translates to "miracle" in English. In 2007, 30% of the company was sold to William Grant & Sons, a British distillery company.
