Distillery Information

Armagnac is a very distinctive and seductive brandy that can express the rich history and originality of Gascony in a single sip. It's distilled from wine usually made from a blend of grapes and aged in French oak barrels for many years.
Armagnac is produced in the Gascony region of France, which is located to the south of Bordeaux. The region is split into three areas; Bas Armagnac, Tenareze and Haut Armagnac. Often made in small batches by local farmers, Armagnac is not well-known outside of Europe.
It is distilled from wine usually made from a blend of grapes including Baco 22A, Colombard, Folle blanche and Ugni blanc, traditionally using column stills rather than the pot stills used in the production of cognac, which is made predominantly from ugni blanc grapes.
Armagnac is a type of French brandy, or distilled wine, that is typically enjoyed as an after-dinner drink. Armagnac is known for its flavor, which combines notes of chocolate, dried fruit, and caramel, and for its rich mouthfeel.
