Lunazul Reposado Tequila
Lunazul Tequila stands as a testament to excellence, crafted exclusively from 100% Blue Weber Agave at the renowned Tierra de Agaves Distillery in Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico. Established in 2002 by Francisco Beckmann, former co-owner of Jose Cuervo, Tierra de Agaves was founded with the singular mission of creating the finest tequila in the world. Each variant of Lunazul, including Blanco, Reposado, Añejo, and Primero, is meticulously hand-crafted and deeply rooted in time-honored tradition.
Representing an accessible form of luxury, Lunazul Tequila is synonymous with quality — boasting 100% agave content, hand-labeled bottles, and a commitment to artisanal craftsmanship. The Lunazul Reposado, a distinguished expression in the collection, undergoes a unique aging process in bourbon barrels, resulting in a tequila of unparalleled smoothness and rich flavor.
Appearance: Lunazul Reposado Tequila exhibits a warm golden hue, capturing the essence of its brief yet transformative aging process in American white oak barrels. Nose: The aroma is an inviting bouquet of agave sweetness, tinged with subtle hints of vanilla. Notes of caramel begin to emerge, creating an olfactory experience that is both comforting and enticing. Palate: Upon the first sip, Lunazul Reposado unfolds with a delicate balance of flavors. The natural sweetness of agave takes the lead, complemented by the smooth and mellow influence of oak. Caramel notes add a layer of richness, while a touch of spice enhances the complexity. Mid-Palate: The mid-palate experience reveals the harmony between agave and oak. The brief aging period allows for a nuanced interplay, where the agave's vibrancy is enhanced by subtle oak-driven characteristics. The mouthfeel is smooth and velvety, inviting further exploration. Finish: Lunazul Reposado Tequila concludes with a smooth and lingering finish. The warmth from the oak persists, leaving a gentle and satisfying impression. The overall palate impression is one of balance, with the agave sweetness and the subtle influence of the barrel harmonizing beautifully.
