Longhouse Pinot Noir is a wine made from grapes grown in some of the oldest vineyards in Monterey County. The wine has notes of black cherry, raspberry, and strawberry, with subtle hints of baking spice.
Longhouse also makes a 2020 Sonoma County Pinot Noir, which has notes of rhubarb, raspberry, and bright red fruits. The wine has refined tannins and a finish with subtle hints of black tea and allspice.
Pinot Noir is usually a light- to medium-bodied, dry wine with bright acidity and silky tannins. It has an alcohol content of 12–15%. The best Pinot Noir has complex flavors that include cherry, raspberry, mushroom, and forest floor. When aged in French oak, it also has notes of vanilla and baking spice.
