Jameson whiske by the Irish Distillers subsidiary of Pernod Ricard. Originally one of the six main Dublin whiskeys at the Jameson Distillery Bow St., Jameson is now distilled at the New Midleton Distillery in County Cork.
Jameson Orange is made with triple-distilled Jameson Irish whiskey blended with natural orange flavouring and sugar. Created in 1780 by John Jameson, this iconic Irish whisky was guided by John until his death at 83. The original distillery on this site was called the Bow Street Distillery and was established in 1780. John Jameson took full ownership (he was previously the general manager) and expanded the distillery in 1805. By 1810, the operation was officially renamed to John Jameson & Son's Bow Street Distillery.The emergence and growth of Irish Whiskey meant we needed a larger home for making our whiskeys. In 1975, we moved from Bow Street to Midleton, County Cork. To this day every drop of Jameson enjoyed around the world hails from here.
