Distillery Information

The distillery is owned by The Glenmorangie Company Ltd (a subsidiary of Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy), whose main product is the range of Glenmorangie single malt whisky. Glenmorangie is categorised as a Highland distillery and boasts the tallest stills in Scotland.
Glenmorangie was founded in 1843, although operation didn't start until 1849.
The best known of all the Northern Highland malts is Glenmorangie. The Eastern Highlands produce a number of whiskies that can be confused with those of Speyside.
Glenmorangie 18 Years Old has been made in a steady, unhurried way, in an unchanging environment, by a small team of unchanging craft-men - the "Sixteen Men of Tain" for over 150 years. This bottling has been discontinued and is a rare treat!
Glenmorangie single malt whisky has been produced in the Scottish Highlands since 1843, when farmer William Matheson and his wife Anne followed their dreams and founded the Glenmorangie Distillery.
