Glenmorangie 14 Year Old Port Cask Finish - Quinta Ruban Single Malt Whisky
Glenmorangie Single Malt Scotch Whisky originates in the Scottish Highlands where it is distilled in the tallest malt whisky stills in Scotland, expertly matured in the finest oak casks, only used twice. The Glenmorangie distillery, founded in 1843 is renowned as a pioneer in whisky making, uniting tradition with innovation.
The Glenmorangie 14 Year Old Port Cask Finish has been matured in American White Oak ex-Bourbon barrels before being extra matured in specially selected Ruby port pipes from the Quintas, or wine estates, of Portugal. Extra maturation is a wood finishing technique pioneered at the Glenmorangie Distillery. Wood finishing in these port pipes develops Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban into a voluptuous spirit with a complex balance of sweet and dry flavors.
