Appearance: This brandy exhibits a radiant amber hue, glistening invitingly in the glass. Nose: Enticing aromas of dried fruits, including figs and raisins, greet the nose, accompanied by delicate floral notes and a hint of citrus zest. Subtle nuances of vanilla and caramelized sugar add depth and complexity to the bouquet. Palate: On the palate, the brandy delivers a velvety-smooth texture, coating the mouth with layers of rich flavor. The brandy must have been produced exclusively within the municipal boundaries of Jerez de la Frontera, El Puerto de Santa María and Sanlúcar de Barrameda. It must be aged in American oak casks with a capacity of 500 liters that previously contained sherry.

Fundador is the market-leading Spanish grape brandy. Made using Airen and Palomino grapes, Fundador (literally 'Founder') was the first brand marketed as a 'Brandy de Jerez and is aged in a sherry-soaked Solera.
Brandy refers to a distilled spirit made from a fruit-based wine and originates from the word 'brandewijn' which is Dutch for 'burnt wine. ' It can be produced using any fruits, for example pears apples or cherries, but brandy that is not made from grapes must be labelled with the fruit that it's made from.
Brandy is produced by distilling grape wine, while whisky is distilled from cereals such as malted barley, rye, and corn. Brandy de Jerez, on the other hand, is aged in American oak casks that have previously aged sherry wines. The criaderas and solera system is used for ageing.
