Crafted exclusively from 100% Blue Weber agave, Espolòn Tequila Reposado begins its journey with the careful selection of mature agave plants. The heart of this Reposado lies in the patient aging process, where the tequila gracefully rests in American oak barrels for up to six months. This meticulous aging imparts a golden hue and imparts rich, nuanced flavors that distinguish Espolòn Reposado.

Upon pouring, the amber liquid beckons with enticing aromas of caramel, vanilla, and a subtle hint of toasted oak. The initial sip reveals a symphony of flavors, where the sweet and earthy agave intertwines with notes of butterscotch and baking spices. The smooth, velvety texture glides across the palate, leaving a warm and lingering finish that invites contemplation.

Espolòn Tequila Reposado pays homage to tradition with its iconic rooster-adorned bottle, symbolizing strength, passion, and the proud heritage of Mexico's tequila culture. Whether sipped neat, on the rocks, or as the foundation for a premium cocktail, Espolòn Reposado elevates every occasion with its sophisticated depth and character.

For Espolòn Tequila, we use a combination of pot and column still distillation – both the pot & column distillates are distilled twice. Pot stills are more traditional and produce an earthy taste profile, and our use of a column still enables us to get a clean, light and fruity distillate.
Cirilo named it Espolòn, Spanish for “spur,” to honor his single-minded commitment to real tequila and real Mexican craft – to spur on, ever forward, serenaded by the spirits of the past.
