Both Espolon Blanco and Reposado are handcrafted with single-sourced 100% pure Blue Weber Agave at Destiladora San Nicolas, an artisan distillery owned by Gruppo Campari located in the Los Altos (Highlands) region of Jalisco, Mexico.

For Espolòn Tequila, we use a combination of pot and column still distillation – both the pot & column distillates are distilled twice. Pot stills are more traditional and produce an earthy taste profile, and our use of a column still enables us to get a clean, light and fruity distillate.
Cirilo named it Espolòn, Spanish for “spur,” to honor his single-minded commitment to real tequila and real Mexican craft – to spur on, ever forward, serenaded by the spirits of the past.
Flavor #2. Espolon Reposado uses only hand harvested 100% Blue Weber agave and is produced in Los Altos de Jalisco, Mexico. It starts off life as Blanco. It is then rested in lightly charred New American Oak barrels for at least 3 months to create a more complex and well-rounded character uniquely Espolòn.
