Most vodkas are made using a blend of grains like rye, wheat, malt, flaked maize, corn, or sorghum.Traditionally, it is made by distilling liquid from fermented cereal grains, and potatoes since introduced in Europe in the 1700s. Some modern brands use corn, sugar cane, fruits, honey, and maple sap as the base.
The vodka is distilled from wheat grown in Northern Holland using a continuous distillation process. Its makers claim their vodka "is distilled at much lower temperatures than other luxury vodkas to avoid 'caramelisation' of the distillate".
