Discover the exquisite craftsmanship of Don Eduardo Reposado Tequila, a testament to Mexico's rich tequila-making tradition. Crafted with precision and passion, this reposado tequila offers a harmonious blend of flavors and a smooth, velvety texture that delights the senses.

At the heart of Don Eduardo Reposado Tequila lies hand-selected blue Weber agave, sourced from the sun-drenched fields of Jalisco, Mexico. Each agave piña is carefully cultivated and harvested at peak ripeness to ensure optimal sweetness and depth of flavor.

After harvest, the piñas undergo a traditional cooking process in brick ovens, allowing their natural sugars to caramelize and develop rich, complex flavors. The cooked agave is then crushed, fermented, and double-distilled to create a pure and vibrant tequila base.

Don Eduardo Reposado Tequila is aged in American oak barrels for a minimum of six months, allowing it to mature and develop its distinctive character. During this aging process, the tequila acquires a golden hue and flavors of vanilla, caramel, and toasted oak, imparted by the barrels.

On the nose, Don Eduardo Reposado Tequila entices with aromas of cooked agave, vanilla, and hints of spice, promising a rich and indulgent experience. The palate is treated to a smooth and velvety texture, with flavors of caramel, oak, and subtle spice that linger on the finish.

Whether enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or as the foundation for premium cocktails, Don Eduardo Reposado Tequila is the perfect choice for those seeking an elevated tequila experience. With its exceptional quality and complex flavor profile, it invites you to savor every moment of its rich heritage and exceptional taste.

Distillery Information

Don Eduardo Reposado Tequila is distilled from 100% blue agave and produced at Tequila Orendain de Jalisco, SA CV (NOM 1110). After resting for 6 months in very old American white oak, it is bottled at 40% abv.
The nose is fresh, vegetal and pine-like; aeration allows the pine/cedar scent to dominate the latter nosing phase. The palate entry is sweet and sap-like, almost honeyed; at midpalate the flavor profile turns bittersweet and bean-like. Ends well. Solidly made and intense.
A drink similar to tequila likely originated around 1000 B.C. among the Olmec people in what is now Southeastern Mexico. This is known as pulque and is made from agave, the same plant that is used to distill as the liquor we know today.Don Pedro Sánchez de Tagle y Pérez Bustamante, 2nd Marquis of Altamira (1661–1723) was a Spanish aristocrat and is known as "The Father of Tequila".
