Corazón Tequila is distilled and aged at Casa San Matías, a family-owned distillery in Jalisco, Mexico that has 135 years of experience.In Los Altos, Mexico the heart of Tequila Valley Corzo Distillery has pioneered and patented a distillation process that begins when expert jimadors trim the shoots and stalks from young Highland Blue Weber Agave plants, allowing the plants to focus more of their energy on developing rich and flavorful pias, or hearts.
The first distillation process takes place in steel distillation columns, during which water is removed and alcohol is concentrated from fermented agave juice. The second distillation takes place in stills to obtain tequila with a range of 55-65% alcohol, depending on the brand.
An exceptionally elegant and flavorful tequila with notes of citrus and vanilla, Corzo silver is best enjoyed as a sipping tequila or when prepared with the highest quality of mixers.

Corzo is a brand of tequila named in honor of the town of Chiapa de Corzo, Chiapas. The town was built on the highland battleground where the last Native Americans opposed the Spanish Conquistadors.
Corzo is made at Bacardi y Compañia, S.A. de C.V. in the Los Altos region of Jalisco, at the same distillery as Cazadores- NOM 1487. Many years ago Cazadores was a good brand, but it's not the same anymore.
