Immerse yourself in the rich heritage and exquisite craftsmanship of Chinaco Tequila Anejo, a distinguished expression of Mexico's esteemed tequila-making tradition. With a legacy spanning over four decades, Chinaco has perfected the art of tequila production, delivering a spirit of unparalleled quality and sophistication.

Chinaco Tequila Anejo begins its journey in the sun-drenched fields of Jalisco, Mexico, where only the finest blue Weber agave plants are hand-selected for harvest. Each agave is meticulously cultivated to achieve optimal maturity and sweetness, ensuring a superior quality distillate.

Following harvest, the succulent agave hearts are slow-roasted in traditional stone ovens, allowing their rich juices to be extracted and fermented. The fermented liquid is then double-distilled to achieve the purest expression of agave flavor, before being aged in oak barrels for a minimum of one year.

During its maturation, Chinaco Tequila Anejo acquires a deep amber hue and develops a complex flavor profile characterized by notes of vanilla, caramel, and toasted oak. These flavors are further enhanced by the unique microclimate of the aging cellar, which imparts additional depth and richness to the tequila.

On the nose, Chinaco Tequila Anejo entices with aromas of ripe agave, dried fruit, and warm spices, inviting anticipation of the indulgent flavors to come. The palate is treated to a velvety-smooth texture, with layers of caramel, chocolate, and baking spices mingling with the sweetness of cooked agave.

The finish is long and satisfying, with lingering notes of oak, vanilla, and a hint of pepper that leave a lasting impression of refinement and sophistication. Whether enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or as the foundation for premium cocktails, Chinaco Tequila Anejo is the epitome of luxury, offering a taste experience that transcends the ordinary.

Distillery Information

Chinaco's distillery, La Gonzaleña, is a family-owned and operated business that can be traced back to the Cinco de Mayo battle in 1862 and is honored to exclusively produce Chinaco Tequila in three superb expressions—Blanco, Reposado and Añejo.
Tequila (/təˈkiːlə/; Spanish: [teˈkila]) is a distilled beverage made from the blue agave plant, primarily in the area surrounding the city of Tequila 65 km (40 mi) northwest of Guadalajara, and in the Jaliscan Highlands (Los Altos de Jalisco) of the central western Mexican state of Jalisco.
Chinaco Tequilas, the only tequila made in the fertile state of Tamaulipas, is 100% agave and double-distilled to achieve their exceptionally smooth and legendary flavor. Authentically Mexican, Chinaco Tequila embodies Mexico like no other.Tequila (/təˈkiːlə/; Spanish: [teˈkila]) is a distilled beverage made from the blue agave plant, primarily in the area surrounding the city of Tequila 65 km (40 mi) northwest of Guadalajara, and in the Jaliscan Highlands (Los Altos de Jalisco) of the central western Mexican state of Jalisco.
Tequila is made from harvested blue agave. Then, it's cooked (we use a water-steaming process) and fermented into alcohol. The liquid is distilled twice to purify the alcohol and make it drinkable. Once this distillation process is finished—that's it—it's officially blanco tequila.
