Embark on a journey through time with Campo Azul 1940 Reposado Tequila, a tribute to the rich heritage and artisanal craftsmanship of Mexico's tequila-making tradition. Crafted with care and expertise, this reposado tequila celebrates Campo Azul's legacy, founded in 1940, and offers a refined expression that captivates the senses and transports you to the heart of Jalisco's agave fields.

Aging Process: Campo Azul 1940 Reposado Tequila is aged for a minimum of six months in American oak barrels, allowing the spirit to develop its signature depth and character. During this time, the tequila absorbs the flavors and aromas of the wood, resulting in a smooth and refined expression that is perfect for savoring and enjoying with friends.

Craftsmanship: Crafted with the utmost care and attention to detail, Campo Azul 1940 Reposado Tequila reflects Campo Azul's commitment to quality and tradition. Hand-selected blue agave plants are harvested at peak ripeness in the fields of Jalisco, Mexico, and cooked in traditional brick ovens to release their natural sugars. The agave juice is then fermented with wild yeast and double-distilled to ensure purity and clarity, creating a tequila of exceptional quality and character.

Versatility: Whether enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or as the base for your favorite cocktails, Campo Azul 1940 Reposado Tequila is the perfect companion for any occasion. Its smooth and balanced profile makes it equally enjoyable as a sipping tequila or as the star ingredient in classic cocktails such as the Paloma, Tequila Old Fashioned, or Margarita.

Unforgettable Experience: With its rich flavors and artisanal craftsmanship, Campo Azul 1940 Reposado Tequila promises an unforgettable journey through the world of tequila. Whether you're celebrating a special moment or simply savoring the taste of Mexico, each sip of this exceptional spirit offers a glimpse into the traditions and legacy that define Campo Azul's heritage.

Distillery Information

Campo Azul is made in Jesús María Jalisco by Productos Finos de Agave, S.A. de C.V. It is from the same maker as Casamigos and Tequila Alacrán.Avión, and Clase Azul tequilas all have in common? All are made in the same distillery, located in a town called Jesús María in the Los Altos region of Jalisco, Mexico.Made with 100% estate grown, blue agave, Campo Azul Selecto Anejo is a bright, oaky and slightly fruity tequila that will have the most distinguished of palates impressed.
The first distillation process takes place in steel distillation columns, during which water is removed and alcohol is concentrated from fermented agave juice. The second distillation takes place in stills to obtain tequila with a range of 55-65% alcohol, depending on the brand.
Clase Azul is an instantly recognizable name. Arturo Lomeli founded the company in 1997 in his hometown of Guadalajara, Mexico, with the intention of creating a brand that expressed Mexican culture and was a fine spirit.Fermentation with our patented yeast imparts our distinctive profile to the elixir. Its notes are then molded through a double distillation in copper stills. This dedicated effort results in an exquisite tequila.
Many years later, in 1996, Casa Campo Azul Distillery was inaugurated under the shelter of Productos Finos de Agave. Nowadays, it's the third generation of the family the one that runs the company and it maintains their own agave sowings guaranteeing the quality of the plant.
