Broken Shed Vodka is handcrafted in Wanaka, New Zealand from all natural and renewable resources. We use the purest waters,sourced from New Zealand's most precious reservoirs and combine it with natural protein whey ( or milk honey as we prefer to call it) Distilled three times.Two explorers were enjoying a drink together, when it dawned on them that they should make a vodka themselves. One which captured everything about the place they were in at the time. With the help of a knowledgeable friend, they set out to make their vision a reality. It was a year of developing, testing and sampling.
Broken Shed Vodka is a crisp, clean vodka distilled with the purest New Zealand mountain mineral water, spring water, highest-quality sustainable whey, and nothing else. No additives, sweeteners or GMOs. Gluten-free at every stage of the process.
Vodka goes through a column distillation process. This concept arrived in the 19th century when commercial distillers needed a faster method than pot distilling, which required cleaning after every batch. Column distilling involves large columns where mash/wash is constantly injected, and the steam rises to meet it.
