Distillery Information

Bogle Vineyards is a California winery that traces its history in the Sacramento River Delta back to the late 1800s. The company was founded in 1979 and is based in Clarksburg, California. Warren Bogle is the President and Vineyard Director.
Sauvignon Blanc is most famously produced in Marlborough, New Zealand and France, where (in the former) its telltale gooseberry and grapefruit notes shine most brightly. It also does well in Australia, particularly Margaret River in the far west of the country, in addition to the Adelaide Hills.Bogle is a well-regarded wine brand that produces a variety of different wines, including Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Zinfandel, among others. The winery is located in Clarksburg, California, and has been in operation since 1968.
It wasn't until 1968 that Warren and his son Chris planted our first 20 acres of wine grapes on our Home Ranch. For 10 years, the family grew grapes for other wineries, then releasing the wine under their own label in 1978. The original winery, constructed in 1979, still stands today.
