Distillery Information

Beringer Vineyards is a large winery in St. Helena, California. Founded in 1876, Beringer Vineyards is "the oldest continuously operating winery in the Napa Valley", and is listed under both the National Register of Historic Places and as a California Historical Landmark.
Beringer is known for establishing many 'firsts' as leaders in the wine industry. We were one of the first gravity fed facilities and among the first to operate using hand-dug caves and cellars. We were the first to give public tours in 1934, starting a Napa Valley hospitality tradition.
Sauvignon Blanc is most famously produced in Marlborough, New Zealand and France, where (in the former) its telltale gooseberry and grapefruit notes shine most brightly. It also does well in Australia, particularly Margaret River in the far west of the country, in addition to the Adelaide Hills. With the addition of oak (barrel fermentation and / or aging), the green fruit flavors of classic unoaked Sauvignon Blanc are softened, and the wines gain toasty and spicy flavors of vanilla and licorice that can develop complexity over time.
A Napa Valley icon, Beringer Vineyards is the oldest continuously operating winery in the area. Founded in 1876, Beringer Vineyards offer a wide selection of high-quality wines that we have curated for the Filipino palate.
Coupled with a crisp dryness, light body and mellow colour and you can see why so many of us enjoy it. Sauvignon Blanc is almost always dry and young in style and rarely aged, although it is used in France to make refreshingly delicate, sweet dessert wines.
