Then, it's cooked (we use a water-steaming process) and fermented into alcohol. The liquid is distilled twice to purify the alcohol and make it drinkable. Once this distillation process is finished—that's it—it's officially blanco tequila.Bandero is twice distilled before being chill filtered to purify and perfect the flavour. In the past two years, Bandero has claimed more than a dozen awards, including the Double Gold Medal at the Global Spirit Awards, and the Innovation Award at the Sip Awards International Spirits Competition.
Tequila is a distilled spirit made from the Weber blue agave plant that grows in Mexico. The blue agave plant has huge spikes that come up from a central core that is called the pina. After the leaves are removed, the pina is the part of the plant that is used to make tequila.The nose also shows pine, alcohol, vanilla, light citrus, and it's creamy and earthy. Not my type nose. The taste gets about the same, with some vegetal and little bit of a sour bitter note. Overall an average tequila.
