The Kentucky Artisan Distillery is the official home of Jefferson's Bourbon. Distilling, blending, bottling of special offerings is done here. The KAD is where innovative ideas like the Barrel Aged Manhattan, Wine Finishes, Wood Experiments and Rum Finish have all become realities.
Jefferson's Reserve Distillery is made at Kentucky Artisan Distillery at 6230 Old Lagrange Road in Crestwood, Ky. Jefferson's Bourbon was launched in 1997 by Trey Zoeller, a native Kentuckian, and his father Chet Zoeller, a bourbon historian. He founded a company called McClain & Kyne after Zoeller's past relatives, including an 8th generation grandmother arrested in 1799 for moonshining. Our Very Small Batch is an approachable, easy-drinking and smooth bourbon whiskey that's perfect whether enjoyed neat or in a cocktail, and enjoyed both by connoisseurs and people new to the premium bourbon market.
Jefferson's Bourbon has not had a home until quite recently. They've been able to create pretty cool barrels of bourbon in these years, and this makes it one which brand loyalists love. Presently, they have a home at Kentucky Artisan Distillery (KAD), which is in Crestwood, Kentucky.
