Tequila Komos is made at the Orendain distillery in the town of Tequila and utilizes primarily wine barrels, for their ultra-luxury aged Tequila expressions. All of the expressions are gently aerated in greek wine amphorae, tying the Mediterranean focus of the brand, back to the process itself.
Tasting Panel Magazine rated Komos the highest-rated tequila portfolio ever, including the first 100-point score ever. Komos is distributed throughout the US, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, and is the flagship brand from parent company CKBG (Casa Komos Brands Group).

The agave is stripped to reveal the heart of the plant, the 'piña', which is then hand-chopped, baked and crushed by a two-ton volcanic stone Tahona wheel and a roller mill. The resulting mixture is fermented for three days, distilled and, in some cases, aged in handmade barrels.

Reposado means “rested” in Spanish, and reposados rest anywhere from two months to a year before they are bottled. Reposados take on the gold hue from the barrels in which they are aged.
