Phillips Distilling Company first introduced Revel Stoke in 2000, a Canadian whisky spiced with cinnamon, cardamom, coriander, ginger & vanilla, blended together at the Revel Stoke Distillery in High River, Alberta. The perfect blend of pecan and whisky have joined the lineup.
Digging a little further into the controversy reveals there are actually two different products marketed as Fireball. The flagship product, Fireball Cinnamon Whisky is a 33 percent ABV (66-proof) liqueur made with a mixture of Canadian whiskey, sweeteners and natural cinnamon flavoring.Whisky or whiskey is a type of liquor made from fermented grain mash. Various grains (which may be malted) are used for different varieties, including barley, corn, rye, and wheat. Whisky is typically aged in wooden casks, which are typically made of charred white oak.
In distillation, the still is heated to just below the boiling point of water and the alcohol and other compounds vaporise and pass over the neck of the still into either a condenser or a worm – a large copper coil immersed in cold running water where the vapour is condensed into a liquid.
