Herencia Mexicana Tequila is crafted in the Highland region near Arandas, Mexico, using traditional methods that have been passed down through generations. The piñas, or hearts of the agave plants, are cooked in small brick ovens and then crushed by a mechanical mill. After a fermentation process lasting three days in 6,000-liter tanks, the tequila undergoes double distillation in small copper pot stills. It is then aged in ex-bourbon casks for nine months, allowing the flavors to develop and mature. The result is a reposado tequila of exceptional quality and character, enjoyed by tequila aficionados worldwide.
