Introducing Glenglassaugh Revival Single Malt Scotch Whisky, bottled at 92 proof for a bold and flavorful experience. Crafted with precision and passion, this exceptional whisky embodies the rich heritage and coastal character of the Glenglassaugh distillery.

Production Process: Our whisky is meticulously crafted using traditional methods and the finest quality ingredients. We start by selecting the finest malted barley, which is mashed and fermented to create a flavorful wash. The wash is then distilled in copper pot stills to ensure the purity and character of the spirit.

Following distillation, Glenglassaugh Revival is aged in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks, allowing it to develop its distinctive profile over time. The whisky is carefully monitored by our expert distillers as it matures, ensuring that each barrel reaches its full potential.

Perfect Serve: Glenglassaugh Revival is best enjoyed neat or with a splash of water to unlock its full complexity. Savor it slowly, allowing the flavors to unfold on your palate with each sip. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply indulging in a moment of relaxation, Glenglassaugh Revival is sure to elevate your whisky experience.

Experience the revival of tradition with Glenglassaugh Revival Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Each bottle is a testament to our commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and the pursuit of excellence.

Tasting Notes

Appearance: Rich golden amber hue, hinting at the whisky's depth and complexity.

Nose: The aroma is inviting and multi-layered, with initial notes of ripe orchard fruits such as apples and pears. Beneath the fruitiness, there are undertones of warm vanilla and caramel, reminiscent of freshly baked pastries. A subtle hint of oak adds depth to the bouquet.

Palate: On the palate, Glenglassaugh Revival delivers a symphony of flavors. The sweetness of toffee and honeyed fruit greets the taste buds, balanced by spicy cinnamon and nutmeg notes. There is a creamy texture that coats the mouth, enhancing the overall richness of the whisky. As it develops, hints of tropical fruits emerge, adding a delightful twist to the flavor profile.

Finish: The finish is long and satisfying, with lingering warmth and a touch of oak spice. A final flourish of citrus zest leaves a refreshing sensation, enticing you to take another sip.

Distillery Information

The Glenglassaugh Distillery Company was established in 1875 to oversee the new distillery's build at Sandend Bay, though during the 20th century it was beset with long periods of closure brought on by economic woes hitting the whole industry.
Glenglassaugh Distillery, at the east end of the beautiful Sandend Bay, was founded by Col. James Moir in 1875. He quickly established a reputation for making quality whisky and the company prospered under his leadership, with his two nephews, until 1892 when Glenglassaugh was purchased by Highland Distillers.
The Glenglassaugh Distillery is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery located in a picturesque site just outside the Speyside region in Northeast Scotland, close to the small town of Portsoy, Banffshire some 54 miles Northwest of Aberdeen.
William Grant fulfils a lifelong ambition and starts building his own distillery with the help of his nine children and a single stone mason. He names it Glenfiddich, Gaelic for Valley of the Deer. After a year of hard work the first drop of spirit falls from our copper stills on Christmas Day 1887.
