Barrell Bourbon Batch 036
A multi-mashbill blend was created by combining full-bodied barrels with black cherry notes and oak-forward barrels with a nutty flavor profile. After these mingled, younger barrels with stone fruit and peppery highlights were added to the blend. Lastly, older barrels with notes of milk chocolate, cinnamon and pecans were carefully layered in. The result is an elegant bourbon that is opulent on the finish.

- Indiana: 7.5, 8, & 10 years old
- Tennessee: 8 & 15 years old
- Kentucky: 9 years old

- Corn: 79%
- Rye: 16%
- Malted Barley: 5%
Appearance: Deep amber with golden highlights, reflecting the careful maturation of the blend. Nose: A complex and inviting aroma with layers of caramel, vanilla, and a hint of butterscotch. The nose unfolds with notes of dried fruits, such as figs and raisins, along with a subtle oak undertone. Palate: The first sip reveals a well-balanced palate. Rich flavors of toffee, dark chocolate, and honeyed sweetness mingle with the warmth of baking spices—cinnamon and nutmeg—creating a delightful complexity. The blend of different ages and barrel types contributes to a nuanced and sophisticated taste. Mouthfeel: Silky and full-bodied, the bourbon coats the palate with a velvety texture. The mouthfeel is both robust and smooth, offering a luxurious experience that enhances the overall enjoyment. Finish: A lingering finish that evolves on the palate. Oak and leather notes emerge, accompanied by a gentle spiciness that adds depth to the finish. The sweetness persists, leaving a satisfying and contemplative impression.
