Adnams English Single Malt Whiskey
Adnams English Single Malt Whiskey is a testament to the craftsmanship of Adnams Brewery & Distillery. Made from 100% East Anglian malted barley, this small-batch whiskey is copper pot stilled and matured in new French oak barrels for a minimum of five years. This results in a smooth, rich whiskey with bold flavors of runny honey, vanilla, and apricots. The whiskey boasts a moreish, caramel finish with lush, lingering fruit notes. Adnams' dedication to quality and tradition shines through in every sip of this exceptional single malt whiskey.
Nose: Oak, bubblegum, and apricot aromas lead the way, followed by hints of vanilla, butterscotch, and fruity notes. Adding a drop of water reveals nuances of kirsch and runny honey, along with red and black cherries and a hint of red chilli. Palate: The palate delivers pepper and bubblegum notes, accompanied by white orchard fruit and blueberry flavors. A subtle hint of cookie dough adds depth to the experience. Finish: The finish is sweet and spicy, with notes of caramel and the cracked outsides of Smarties. Fruitiness lingers on the palate, leaving a satisfying conclusion to the tasting experience.
