Talisker Distiller's Edition is a very chewable single malt, with sweetness having the edge on dryness. It features crisp peat notes at first that soften to enormous richness in the mouth. There is sweet, roasty malt with a heathery dryness.

Talisker distillery is an island single malt Scotch whisky distillery based in Carbost, Scotland on the Minginish Peninsula on the Isle of Skye. The distillery is operated by Diageo and Taliskers' 10 year old whisky has been nominated as part of their Classic Malts series.
In 1925, the consortium became Distillers Company (D.C.L.), one of the ancestors of Diageo, who now owns the distillery.
