Slipknot Red Cask No. 9 is an Iowa whiskey from the collaboration between the band Slipknot and Cedar Ridge Distillery in Iowa.
It is made from Cedar Ridge's aged bourbon and rye whiskeys, finished for an additional year in red wine casks and then blended. Bottled at 96 proof (48% ABV).
Sweet, spicy, and bold. The nose brings cinnamon, clove, and oak on the nose. The palate is buttery with cornbread flavors, apple pie, and apricot. The finish is smooth and medium-long.
