This 2016 edition was crafted from a selection of 93 barrels filled on June 4, 2004, and aged for 12 years in the heart of Kentucky. Bottled at 97 proof (48.5% ABV), this special release showcases a deep, complex profile with layers of caramel, spice, and fruit, making it a standout in the Birthday Bourbon collection.
Aroma: A rich bouquet of dried fruit, dark cherry, toasted oak, and caramel, balanced with notes of vanilla, baking spices, and a hint of cocoa. Taste: Full-bodied and velvety, with flavors of butterscotch, brown sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, and roasted nuts, complemented by a touch of dark chocolate. Finish: Long and warm, with lingering oak spice, caramelized sugar, and a hint of orange zest.
