It also does well in Australia, particularly Margaret River in the far west of the country, in addition to the Adelaide Hills. This white wine pairs beautifully with seafood appetizers, summer salads, and grilled chicken as well as light and simple foods all year long. Sauvignon Blanc wine is especially well suited for summertime sipping in the sun. Josh Cellars Sauvignon Blanc is 750ml and this bottle of wine has a 13.5% ABV.
Founded in 2007 by New York native Joseph Carr, Josh Cellars was founded as a means of honoring Carr's father Josh, who spent his life volunteering, giving back, and instilling core family values in his children. It was launched in 2007 by American vintner Joseph Carr and named as a tribute to his father Josh. Sauvignon Blanc is usually made in a dry style. This means that after the grapes are pressed, the sugar from the grape must is converted into alcohol by yeast. When all of the sugar is converted, it creates a fully dry wine.Sauvignon blanc is a green-skinned grape variety that originates from the city of Bordeaux in France. The grape most likely gets its name from the French words sauvage ("wild") and blanc ("white") due to its early origins as an indigenous grape in South West France.
Coupled with a crisp dryness, light body and mellow colour and you can see why so many of us enjoy it. Sauvignon Blanc is almost always dry and young in style and rarely aged, although it is used in France to make refreshingly delicate, sweet dessert wines.
