The Breckenridge Distillery is the “World's Highest Distillery”. Founded in 2008, the Breckenridge Distillery is most widely known for its blended bourbon whiskey, a high-rye mash American-style whiskey.
Today there are over 40 on the island, producing around 110 million LPA of whiskey every year, according to the Irish Whiskey Association.
The distillation process generally involves three main steps: The conversion of the desired liquid from a mixture into vapour. The condensation of the purified liquid. The collection of the condensed liquid.
