It is distilled, manufactured and bottled by Tequila Don Julio, S.A. de C.V. from its corporate facility in the Colonia El Chichimeco district, in the city of Atotonilco El Alto, Jalisco, Mexico.
Tequila is a distilled spirit made from the Weber blue agave plant that grows in Mexico. The blue agave plant has huge spikes that come up from a central core that is called the pina. Don Julio Anejo is always a good choice for the money. If you can't afford the Don Julio 1942 or the Reel; the Anejo is the way to go. This is definitely a sippable drink to enjoy. The honey sweetness and the real Agave makes it even better.
