Following Italian tradition, the green walnuts for Nocino are hand-harvested in June, around the Feast of San Giovanni on June 24, then macerated over many months. The result is a semi-sweet liqueur with aromas of green walnuts, baking spices, vanilla and ripe berries and a long, rich finish.
