Appearance: Charbay Doubled & Twisted Lot No. 1 presents a rich amber hue, reminiscent of aged oak, with golden highlights catching the light. Nose: The aroma is a delightful balance of malt sweetness and hoppy freshness. Initial notes of caramelized barley and toasted oak are complemented by vibrant bursts of citrus and floral hops, evoking memories of summer meadows and citrus groves. Palate: On the palate, the whiskey reveals its complexity with layers of flavor. The malt backbone offers rich caramel and toffee notes, while the hops contribute a refreshing bitterness, reminiscent of grapefruit and pine.
