Distillery Information

The Bogle Phantom, despite having a somewhat redundant name, is a tight, focused blend, consisting mainly of Petite Sirah and old-vine Zinfandel, with a touch of Mourvèdre adding mystique.
Bogle Vineyards is a California winery that traces its history in the Sacramento River Delta back to the late 1800s. The company was founded in 1979 and is based in Clarksburg, California. Warren Bogle is the President and Vineyard Director.
In addition to their Zinfandel, Bogle is also known for their Bogle Essential Red, which is a blend of several different varietals, including Petite Sirah, Zinfandel, and Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine is known for its rich, full-bodied flavor profile, with notes of dark fruit, vanilla, and spice.
From the finest field lots, our winemakers select only the highest-quality grapes to create Phantom Red. Full-bodied and jammy, Phantom's origins of Petite Sirah and Zinfandel emerge from the glass. Spicy pepper and juniper tantalize your senses, while black plums and blueberries emerge on the palate.
Frequent and unexplainable sightings at the winery of a mysterious apparition have grown over the decades. Phantom wines are the result of questioning the unexplainable and the search for answers. 2021 Phantom Chardonnay.
Bogle Family Wine Collection will remain family-owned, with Warren, Jody and Ryan Bogle leading the day-to-day operations. Their grandfather began growing winegrapes in 1968 and the family first bottled wine under the name Bogle Vineyards in the late 1970s.
