Bespoken Spirits Bourbon Whiskey
For our Straight Bourbon Whiskey, we source a quality barrel of a straight (minimum 2 years old) bourbon from one of the top distillers in the nation. We hand select staves seasoned for a significant time (also at least 2 years), and treat them with a proprietary process tailored to the intricate properties of the spirit. Each American oak stave is carefully charred one at a time. Finally, we marry the wood with the whiskey in our ACTivator, which creates the ideal setting for whiskey maturation, giving the spirit more color, flavor, depth, and body. This whiskey received the Double Gold Medal at San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2021 and is only released in limited quantities.
Appearance: Dark Citrine Aroma: Cherry bark, lemon leaf, orange peel, and strawberries. Palate: Bitter chocolate, blood orange, and raw cane sugar. Finish: Lengthy finish of malted milk chocolate, chili pepper, and mandarin.
