Drawing on years of experience with three-part barrel finishing, the Barrell Craft Spirits (BCS) team applied their expertise to the oak itself, experimenting with different char levels, toast levels, and oak origins to create a multidimensional blend. Each component whiskey in Vantage is finished separately, then systematically combined through a meticulous blending process that emphasizes the specific flavor contributions of each cask.
The result is a masterfully blended bourbon that perfectly balances the harmonious synergy between bourbon and barrel. With accolades such as 94 points at the Ultimate Spirits Challenge 2023 and recognition as the #3 whiskey on Whisky Advocate's Top 20 Whiskies of 2022, Barrell Vantage showcases the blending expertise and passion for experimentation that defines Barrell Craft Spirits.

Nose: Inhale the creamy richness of creme brûlée, coconut oil, and chocolate pudding from the toasted American oak, complemented by dry, extractive spices like tarragon and nutmeg from the French oak. Mizunara's unique incense and grilled pineapple notes add an unexpected dimension to the aroma. Palate: Experience the sweet and oily texture of the bourbon, with pronounced espresso notes and a pleasantly rich mouthfeel that obscures much of the tannin.
